Today Amy and I went out with the Island Labs crew to launch a weather balloon into the stratosphere. The launch was from Roscoe, NY, and the landing was in Patterson, NY. We successfully launched, tracked, and recovered a balloon that went over 90,000 feet high, and traveled almost 80 miles downrange.
